Warehouse Shelving Manufacturing Process
Warehouse shelving manufacturing is far more than a simple assembly process; it requires a series of meticulously crafted processes.
[Steel Selection and Preliminary Processing]
First, we carefully select steel at Shougang and send it back to our factory. Next, we use a shearing machine to cut the steel to the appropriate size and then form it into a "U" profile using a universal press. On the press, we punch four holes per piece of steel at a time. The entire process requires two workers and takes approximately 15 minutes.
[Beam and Shelf Fabrication]
After completing the columns, we need to prepare the beams and shelf panels. For the beams, we weld hooks and "P" beams together, a relatively simple step. The shelf panels, however, require more complex fabrication. They are cut to the appropriate size from cold-rolled steel sheets in the 0.3 to 1.2 mm thickness, then carefully pressed into a square shape using a bending press and incorporating three reinforcing ribs.
[Pickling and Phosphating]
After all processes are completed, we perform a pickling process. Although pickling may slightly corrode the steel and reduce its thickness, this has minimal impact on overall quality. This is followed by a phosphating step to prevent further oxidation and rusting.
[Powder Coating and Finishing]
Finally, we perform a powder coating process. The production line then transfers the racks into a medium-temperature oven at temperatures between 180 and 300 degrees Celsius. After this series of steps, our racks are completed.
